John Marshall was the father of judicial review which gave disastrous power to non-elected judges. A blow to democracy. The problem continues today as shown by the Citizens United case which continues the judicial practice of interfering with legislative efforts to control political spending by corporations. Money now buys elections, legislation, administrative and judicial decisions. I would never honor Marshall or anyone else who worked against democracy.
